Sam Hortin
Producer
Samantha Hortin is a Performing Artist, Producer and Choreographer based in Boorloo (Perth), WA. After graduating from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2019 with her Bachelor of Performing Arts, majoring in Performance Making, Sam has been working extensively across the Perth industry in the areas of live theatre, dance, film and circus. Most recently she performed a lead role in the Fringe World premiere of “CETUS” at Hayman Theatre, as well as Produced several sell out Blue Room Theatre shows including “Homeward Bound”, “Not Far From The Tree”, “Where Water Once Was” and “We’ll Always Have Bali”. Sam also danced in the Weber Bros nation tour of their hit show “Australia: The Circus”, and has been teaching school students dance with Footsteps Dance Company. Sam also has an extensive background in puppetry and directing theatre workshops with her own theatre company “The Far Away Collective”. Sam is very excited to work with Xin and the entire i2 team as they prepare to present SPLICE in collaboration with The Fremantle Theatre Company.
